I’m excited about starting to build a presence here. I plan to be posting about migration, human rights, nonviolence, and journalism and nonfiction storytelling. I’ll also be sharing updates about my book, “A Greek Tragedy: One Day, A Deadly Shipwreck, and the Human Cost of the Refugee Crisis” — which is a 2026 finalist for a PEN Award and the Los Angeles Times Book Prizes.
